Roger Haag, President/Chief Executive Officer
Roger's under graduate engineering degree is from North Dakota State University, where he also pursued his graduate studies. He holds a professional engineering license, a Class A WWTP operator's license, and was a recipient of the Hatfield Award from the National Water and Environmental Federation, in recognition of outstanding performance and professionalism.

His career began in North Dakota, where he served as a Superintendent of a large WWTP. Next, Roger became successful in the biosolids handling & application business. After that business led him into biosolids storage tanks, his next move was to specialize in that market.

Roger has served as the President of HTI since 1993. His interests are small-aircraft flying and travel, including visits to his grandchild in the western U.S.

Marko Vukasovich, Vice President/Chief Operations Officer.

Marko Vukasovich, Vice President/Chief Operations Officer
Marko earned his Civil Engineering degree from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Marko's career as an engineer has led him to projects in Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana and Massachusetts - acting in a managerial role, responsible for overseeing numerous large construction projects.

Marko's specialties are water and wastewater treatment. He has worked as a design engineer, general contractor, mechanical contractor and now as a general manager for HTI. Before joining HTI, Marko was a project engineer for Earth Tech and most recently a Vice President for Arms & Cole Mechanical.

Marko heads up the bidding / estimating process in his capacity as general manager for HTI.

He is an active member of our community - acting as volunteer manager of the local soccer program, and as a board member on the Chamber of Commerce.

Brenda Mulder, Chief Administrative Officer.

Brenda grew up in a small town outside of Lansing. After she graduated from high school, she attended Lansing Community College. She began working for the Accident Fund of Michigan in the Data Processing Dept., then moved to the Underwriting Dept. The State of Michigan purchased the Accident Fund and she became an employee for the State of Michigan.

Brenda transferred to another position within the State of Michigan and moved to the Grayling area in 1994. She worked in the Parole/Probation office for 11 years before retiring from the State.

Brenda began working for HTI, Inc. in the summer of 2007. She maintains the everyday office duties.

Steve Tompke, V.P. - Construction Services.

Steve Tompke, V.P. - Construction Services
Steve is a resident of Traverse City. He graduated from Ferris State University with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Real Estate. Steve is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in Michigan.

In 1989, Steve started his own construction business; Tompke Construction, Inc. He was responsible for 11 employees. He has many related skills.

Steve came to work for HTI, Inc. and serves as the vice president of construction services.

Steve Daniels, Director of Field Services
Steve is from northern Michigan and graduated from Forest Area High School. He then attended Northwestern Michigan College for one year to learn welding. He also was in the Sheet Metal Workers Apprenticeship Program for 4 years.

Since 1985, he has worked as a mechanical contractor's apprentice and then as a journeyman. He has First Aid, CPR, Asbestos, Confined Space, Lead Awareness, Extended Lift and Fork Lift training.

He has worked for HTI since 2006.
